overview
Circular Reasoning (2026) is a body of work built around a simple question: what happens when the same shape is repeated, translated and reconfigured through different materials and processes? Using the circle as a starting point, the work moves through collage, print, and bookmaking. Each piece acts as a small experiment, testing how changes in scale, structure, surface and sequence can alter the way a form is perceived. Rather than working towards a single image or outcome, the project develops through repetition and variation. Ideas are revisited, reworked and carried between two- and three-dimensional forms, creating connections across the different collections. The result is a body of work that sits between graphic design, sculpture and artist books, exploring how simple visual elements can generate unexpected complexity.
