Absence of Light (2022-2025)

Absence of Light is a collection of tests and studies made over four years (2022 - 2025). I became interested in how details and perspectives of architectural structures could be flattened into graphic pattern. Converging lines, skewed angles, stretched shadows and the tension between positive and negative space caught my attention. By recording my environment through shape and pattern, and developing these through material testing and compositional play, the work began to establish an on-going visual language grounded in geometry, spatial occupation and defined edges.
