Spatial Collages
The folded collages were selected for further development into spatial constructions. Additional folding, layering and surface collage created overlapping, interrupted and concealed imagery that shifted with the viewing angle. The final design was translated into screenprint to form the book’s cover, with angled folds creating an irregular concertina structure that changes direction as it unfolds.
